HotelDescription#This lodge is set on the banks of Zimbabwe's well known man-made Lake Chivero. It is one of the country's famous grand lodges and is surrounded by the unspoilt nature of the Chivero lakeside. Guests will find the city of Harare just some 33 km away.
The lodge offers commanding views of the lake and comprises a total of 20 rooms, including 1 suite. It offers guests a truly unique safari experience and is equipped in an ethnic style to compliment the natural ambience of Africa. In these enchanted surroundings, guests will experience true holidays with superb accommodation, fine cuisine and excellent personalised service. There is a central bar-lounge with satellite TV, and the lodge offers conference facilities and guests can also take advantage of the laundry service.
The rooms are fully furnished in African ethnic style. They all come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer and offer a double bed. They are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning units are provided in all accommodation as standard.
Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and a volleyball court. It also offers speedboat cruising, birdwatching on the bird island in the midst of the waters, guided nature walks in the bird sanctuary and sunset cruises.
Outdoor and indoor dining facilities include a sumptuous buffet and à la carte and light meals. Private dining is available in the restaurant on the upper deck for those looking for a more romantic dinner.
