Guesthouse Esterer is a precious gem of Victorian times, located in the heart of Oudtshoorn, the capital of the Little Karoo. The semi desert is well known for its prosperous agriculture, ostrich farming and breath-taking landscapes.
The guesthouse was founded by the Esterer family in 2009. Originally from Austria, the Esterer‘s are already successfully managing several tourism establishments in Oudtshoorn since 1994.
The family renovated and decorated the former residential building with love to detail. The stylish interior of the spacious rooms with its wooden floors, doors and window frames is creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. The private balconies overlooking the historic centre of Oudtshoorn are inviting for a relaxed reading, accompanied by a superb Karoo wine.
All rooms are fitted with on suite bathrooms, shower, air conditioning, Satellite-TV, free Wifi and are leading either to a terrace or a balcony. Secure parking is free for the guests.
