Taxes and fees charges include state, county and tourism taxes, a cleaning fee, a resort fee assessed by the property manager if applicable to the home that was rented, a booking fee (labelled as a destination fee) assessed by the local property manager and a damage waiver (labelled as a service charge) that covers in the event of accidental damage to the property. The damage waiver and cleaning fee may be adjusted downwards at the time payment is processed, based on the length of stay. Guests under the age of 25 can only check in with a parent or official guardian who is also staying in the unit. ID may be requested at check-in.
