This boutique-hotel was the house of chronicler and historian Georg Krauss and comprises individually designed rooms with design decorations, including original frescoes, mediaeval-style or solid wood furniture, hand carved decorations and stylish bathrooms. Each room is equipped with modern facilities, including a minibar, a flat-screen cable TV, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some also have air-conditioning, and others come with a fireplace.
The house maintains much of its historic structure, including warm decors with wooden elements, and a wooden staircase reaching the upper floors. A breakfast room and a bar with a smoking area are also available on site.

Guests coming by car can use a paid public parking outside the traffic-free citadel, and a valet will help with the procedures and luggage. Please note that a valet service is available permanently for assistance with the parking area, which is outside the citadel, 500 metres away. After check in, a hotel representative will assist the guests with the parking procedures.
