Far from the madding crowds in the heart of Marlboroughs wine district is our straw bale constructed B&B. Each private Suite has a lounge and en-suite bathroom and is nestled amongst Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir vines in our eco friendly vineyard. Visible from each suite are glorious mountain ranges, behind which the sun sets in beautiful displays of rich colours.
Before you retire to your cosy king size bed, bathe in our warm spa pool at night, and gaze up at the clear skies filled with a galaxy of stars.
Rise at your leisure to a breakfast treat, continental and cooked home grown or locally produced fresh foods of your choice, then set out on our pedal bikes, take your own vehicle, or book a tour through the surrounding wineries.
Internet use is free of charge, as are our golf clubs, DVDs and a bottle of wine from out vineyard! Straw Lodge Vineyard and Boutique Lodging offers a unique vineyard setting, nestled amongst organic vines. Each suite boasts magnificent alpine views. Free WiFi and a free airport shuttle is available.
Located in the Marlborough Wine Disctrict, guests can visit a range of local wineries within 20 minutes’ drive.
Each private suite offers a sofa and a TV with a DVD player. The en suite bathroom includes a shower, slippers and free toiletries.
In the evenings guests can relax under the stars in the warmth of the spa pool. You can explore the picturesque surrounds using the free bicycles provided.
