This 18th-century bed and breakfast is a 10-minute drive from Bristol Airport. The property offers free overnight private parking.
A full English breakfast is served in the morning. Homemade locally-sourced preserves and bread are also available where possible. A self-service continental breakfast can be arranged for those travelling early.
Each room is individually decorated and includes a TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, a bathrobe and complimentary toiletries.
Hiking paths are located adjacent to The Mendip Gate Guest House and lead to the Iron Age hill fort of Dolberrow Warren. There is a drying room for boots, clothing and equipment. Tyntesfield House is a 20-minute drive from the property and Bristol city centre is a 25-minute drive. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bath is within a 30-minute drive.
