The Leven has been serving the public since at least 1793 when the building was the Golden Lion inn.
Guests can dine in The Market Bar & Grill, and in summer the terrace overlooking the River Leven is available for dining or drinks and the bar serves a broad range of beers, whiskies and cocktails.

The Leven is 30 minutes’ drive from the centres of Middlesbrough, Darlington and Northallerton.
