The Vaults

In the heart of historic Shrewsbury, The Vaults is a traditional pub with a beer garden, cosy rooms and a lively bar with resident DJs. Shrewsbury Railway Station is just a 2-minute walk away. The simple bedrooms are individually decorated, and all have free Wi-Fi access. Rooms also feature a flat-screen TV, a seating area and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The popular bar serves a wide selection of fine spirits, real local ales and bottled beers. Live DJs play on weekends, and guests can relax in the courtyard garden or on the roof terrace. The Vaults is situated on Castle Gates, just a 3-minute walk from Darwin Shopping Centre. Parking is available nearby, and the magnificent Shrewsbury Castle is a 1-minute walk away. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of GBP 50 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that The Vaults has a lively bar with music until 02:30 on weekends and on Sundays preceding public holidays. Rooms can only be accessed through the main pub. All bedrooms are located on floors 2 and 3 of the building and accessed are through the pub. The building is nearly 200 years old and the stairs are not suitable for people with mobility problems. Under age guests are not allowed to stay unless with an adult over the age of 25. Nearest parking available is at Howard Street, SY1 2LF and is chargeable at GBP 5.30 per 24 hours via a coin-operated machine. We do not accept cash payments. Check In is at the main public bar. The building is nearly 200 years old and the stairs are not suitable for people with mobility problems. We do not have a lift.
