About this property
The Exmoor White Horse Inn is set in Exford, in the heart of Exmoor National Park, on the banks of the River Exe. This award winning 16th-century inn offers freshly prepared, locally sourced meals in the on-site restaurant.
All rooms are individually furnished and feature private en-suite bathrooms, TVs, and tea/coffee facilities.
The evening meal menu includes trout, game birds and rare breed beef, along with an extensive bar menu served daily. A traditional Sunday carvery menu is also available. The traditional bar offers an array of over 200 Malt Whiskeys, and features a traditional wood-burner for winter days.
The area is popular for hiking and cycling, with the Exmoor Heritage Coast 20 minutes away by car, while the beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde, and Saunton are within an hours drive. The villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are less than 30 minutes drive. Please inform Exmoor White Horse Inn in advance of your expected arrival time. Dogs are welcome and dog beds/towels are provided.
We do ask that all guests notify us of their expected time of arrival, along with any table reservation requests and times (incl Breakfast) prior to arrival. As we do not offer 24hr Reception we do request that any guest who will arrive later than 8pm ensures that they notify us in advance
