Bedrooms at the adults-only Champneys Forest Mere have sumptuous bathrooms with signature toiletries and fluffy bathrobes. All rooms have a flat-screen TV/DVD, and most have forest views.
The secluded woodland resort features the famous Champneys Spa, which boasts a swimming pool, spa pools and steam rooms. Guests can enjoy bespoke therapies, or relax in the outdoor pool.
Champneys restaurant serves a modern British menu and fine wines. Beverages can be enjoyed in the cosy lounges or on the sun terrace, which offers magnificent views of the lake.
Champneys Forest Mere resort has a peaceful, secluded location, within an hours’ drive of central London. There is free on-site parking, and the coast at Portsmouth is a 35-minute drive away. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result.
Please note that guests have free access to the leisure facilities, including the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and Gym, and can book and pay for classes, from 17:00 until 10:00. Use of the facilities outside of these hours will be subject to an extra charge of GBP £70.00 per person, per day. The package quoted is a nightly Bed & Breakfast rate, with an arrival time of 5pm. It does not include access to the resort, spa or facilities before the 5pm arrival time and after the 10am check out. If booking consecutive nights, guests are required to leave the site between these times. Guests are invited to stay on site daily between the hours of 10am and 5pm where a £70 per person per day facility charge is payable at reception on arrival. This charge does include lunch. Please note that additional charges apply for the use of the spa and restaurant facilities. Please note that after check-out, the use of the resort facilities will be subject to an additional charge. Hot breakfasts are available for an additional charge. DRESS CODE: Sportswear is permitted throughout the day. However, at dinner guests are asked to wear smart casual clothing. No work wear of any kind, including work boots, High Vis jackets or hard hats will be permitted in the dining or relaxation areas. Any person not adhering to the Champneys dress code will be politely asked to change. Champneys asks all guests to be dressed appropriately for the health spa. This includes smart casual clothing, a robe and flop flops or fitness wear. Should guests not be dressed appropriately, they may be asked to change or leave.
