The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. The hotel sits in its own mature grounds, with beautiful views overlooking the River Rothay.
The hotel has an Art Deco design and is set in an elegant Edwardian house with some period features. All bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms complimented with luxury Bath House toiletries. Most rooms also offer stunning views of the river Rothay or the scenic fells.
Guests are welcomed with cream tea with homemade scones and cakes upon arrival and the pantry offers complimentary tea/coffee also with homemade cookies.
