Located on the seafront, overlooking Bournemouth Bay, this iconic and uniquely styled hotel has a 1930s Art Deco style, a seasonal outdoor heated pool, a day spa, and a lido deck. The Cumberland Hotel was awarded Best Large Hotel 2018 from the Bournemouth Tourism Awards. The Cumberland Hotel is a 4-star deluxe hotel on Eastcliff, a short walk from Bournemouth town centre, the BIC, Pavilion Gardens and Surf Reef. The stylish bar and brasserie opens until 22:00 in summer, and has been awarded 2 AA rosettes. A 3-course dinner can be booked with guests reservation at a discounted advance rate. Guests can use the leisure facilities at 2 neighbouring hotels, including the Oceana Resorts Oceana Day Spa at the Ocean Beach Hotel. This is an Asian-inspired treatment and beauty spa. Suncliff offers a heated indoor pool, sauna, mini gym, and squash courts. Outdoor swimming pools are also located within resorts, along with 4 restaurants, 4 bars, and an illy coffee shop. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please note that onsite parking is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis and chargeable at £12.00 per car per night. Street parking on the seafront is available via pay and display machines. It is not possible to reserve parking prior to arrival. Any type of extra bed or childs cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by Central Reservations. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay. For all payments made and booking types the card holder must be present on check in and the same card must be presented for a security swipe via chip and pin on arrival, failure to provide the same card will result in the payment being refunded to the original card and an alternative payment method requested before check in will be permitted. The property reserves the right to charge bookings in full up to 48 hours prior to arrival during weekends and peak times regardless of reservation policies. Please note only one small dog (under 10 Kg) is allowed per room, at an extra fee of GBP 20 per night. Please note dogs are not allowed in the common areas, with the exception of guide dogs. Please note that cats or any other type of pets cannot be accommodated at this property. At least one guest per room must be over 18 years of age, minors are not permitted in their own accommodation without prior consent of the hotel. Please ensure the correct occupancies are selected on booking, failure to do so may result in your check in being refused. Identification will be required for age verification purposes. All bookings of 6 or more rooms booked together will be treated as group bookings as per Oceana Hotels’ policy. Group bookings will be contacted within 7 days of making the reservation and will be treated as advance purchase bookings. The full non-refundable payment will be required within 7 days of the reservation being made, no cancellations, modifications or refunds will be permitted for any group bookings. These group terms and conditions override any rate policy that has been booked. In case of payments not received within 7 days of the booking being made, the Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking without any liability or further communication.
