Boasting its own vineyards in the heart of picturesque Cochem, this guest house offers cosy rooms and apartments, free parking and excellent wines, just a 10-minute walk from Reichsburg castle.
The family-run Weingut Haxel offers spacious double rooms and well-equipped apartments, providing an ideal base for exploring the area and discovering local wines.
A rich and varied breakfast buffet is served each morning. In the summer months, guests can sample Weingut Haxels own Riesling wines, either in the tavern or outside on the leafy courtyard terrace.
Guided tours of Cochems Old Town and the Moselle countryside are run by the winery owner, covering different themes. Wine tastings can also be arranged on request. Please inform Weingut Haxel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
Please note, that there is 1 free parking place per room/apartment.
The Weinstube winery is generally open from 12:00 during the main season from July to October.
It is completely closed between November and March each year.
Opening hours are subject to change. Guests can still purchase local wines at the property as well as use the outdoor seating all year round.
The property will not serve breakfast from December 22nd to January 2nd.
When travelling with pets, please note that an extra charge of €5,- per pet, per night applies.
