Mad Monkey Downtown is a hostel in the heart of Kings Cross. We offer FREE Wifi, FREE events & FREE Xbox in our common area. Our kitchen, TV room & balcony are set up for a great social vibe. Guests can choose between private rooms or 4 bed dorms. All our dorms have privacy screens on the beds & powerpoint to recharge your devices after a great day out in Sydney. All rooms have shared bathrooms and toilet facilities. All beds come with clean linen. We organise FREE events & discounted tickets for pub crawl. We are surrounded by our sister hostels Mad Monkey Kings Cross & Mad Monkey Bayswater, make sure you go to the correct one! No E-Bike batteries are allowed on the premises CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S 2024/2025: All bookings between 23rd December and 2nd January are NON-REFUNDABLE and are subject to a 10 night minimum stay. Payment will be processed within 72 hours of booking and if the card cannot be charged then your booking will be cancelled. Please also note that our reception will be closed to arrival and departures between 23rd December and 2nd January: no check-ins or outs will be allowed during this time. If your booking contains a check in/out scheduled for those dates then it will be subject to immediate cancellation. We look forward to welcoming you to the Mad Monkey Family! This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise. In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay. Please inform Mad Monkey Downtown in advance of your expected arrival time. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Please note the property cannot accept guests under the age of 18 as well as children under 18 years of age. Please note the reception is closed on the 25 December 2023. You will not be able to check in or out on that date. Payment for all reservations made between 24 December & 2 of January will be taken when the booking is made and are NON REFUNDABLE. If credit card is invalid or inefficient funds you have 72 hours to update your details otherwise your booking will be cancelled. This property does not accept bookings of 8 or more people.
