Newly opened in winter 2012, Alpinhotel Pacheiner is situated on the Gerlitzen Alp at over 1,900 metres above sea level. It offers ski-to-door access, a gym, a spa area with a sauna and panoramic mountain views, a model aeroplane centre with a workshop, and an observatory.
Guests can enjoy swimming in Lake Ossiach, which can be reached with a 20-minute cable car ride.
The Pacheiner Alpinhotel also features a playground for children, a sun terrace, and recreation grounds. The on-site restaurant serves a rich selection of Austrian and international dishes. Half-board includes a rich buffet breakfast and a 5-course dinner, while in summer, an afternoon snack with homemade cakes, is furthermore offered.
