Day - 1 ( Arrival Guwahati by train/flight )

City - Guwahati

Desc:- Arrive Guwahati by Air/train, meet and greet at Airport, after warm welcome you will be transferred to hotel. Proceed to Navagrah Temple, Umananda Devaloi is a Shiva temple located at the Peacock Island in the middle of river Brahmaputra (need to Cross the river by ferry, guest needs to buy Ferry tickets, also enjoy Ride at Longest River Roap way over Brahamaputra River It connects the Northern and Southern banks of Guwahati The ropeway gives a panoramic view of Guwahati, the Brahmaputra, and the surrounding hills. It can be a good experience that gives you an understanding of the geography of the city and also gives you some interesting aerial, drone-like shots without actually using one. You will also see Umananda Island, a small river island with a temple. Later in evening you will have time for Shopping at local market at Pan Bazaar and Fancy Bazaar. Day - 2 ( Am Kamakhya Darshan and drive to Shillong (approx. 100kms/3-4 hrs. drive) )

City - Shillong

Desc:- Morning visit Kamakhya Temple (Pls note, in case guest wants to visit Kamakhya Temple, we suggest Roop Darshan, for going to Garva Griha, VIP ticket cost INR 501 per person, counter opens at 0600 hrs. for Morning Darshan and at 1200 hrs. for afternoon Darshan, devotees need to obtain the ticket by themselves being on time rather before time be in queue/ guest can also enter temple without any VIP tickets, for that guest needs go in general Queue which will take many hours for Darshan) After Dharshan, return to the hotel for breakfast in case the guest does Darhan in time. Afternoon enjoy the excursion of Shillong, En-route enjoy speed boating at Umiam Lake (Bara Pani), visiting Golf Ground, Don Bosco Museum one of the worth visiting Museum in Indian, Museum focusing on local indigenous people & culture, with tools, clothing & artifacts on display. (Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays state and Centre Govt, 0900 hrs to 1730 hrs), Lady Hydari Park, (closed on Mondays) it’s a Scenic, manicured green space with flowering gardens, a water feature & a modest zoo. Cathedral of Marry Laitlum and can also enjoy boating at Ward Lake (on direct payment) Evening at leisure for your own independent activities like shopping at Police Bazar. Overnight in Hotel.

Day - 3 ( Shillong- Jowai-Krangsuri-Lailum Canyons (approx. 80 kms/approx..2-3 hours’ drive one way) )

City - Shillong

Desc:- Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel. Morning proceeds to Jowai, Located in the Jaintia Hills district, Jowai is famous for its scenic setting and breathtaking views. visit Krang Suri falls (carry clothes and towel to enjoy bathing in the fall) to reach to the falls, it’s a long trekking of 20 minutes. After excursion of the fall, need to return to car again by same trekking and drive to Shillong (Falls are dry in winters). Later Proceed for Laitlum Canyons is the perfect place to get wide, sweeping and picturesque views of the state of Meghalaya. The name 'Laitlum Canyons' literally means end of the world or end of hills. Overnight at hotel

Day - 4 ( Shillong- Mwallynong - Dawki Excursion -Cherrapunjee (approx. 110 kms/approx..3 hours’ drive one way) )

City - Cherrapunje

Desc:- Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel. Morning proceeds for day excursion Dawki (Indo-Bangladesh Border). The main attraction here, apart from the extreme natural beauty and peace is the Dawki Bridge. It is a suspension bridge over the Umngot River. Enjoy boat ride on River Dawki on direct payment (one of the cleanest rivers on earth) also you can try some snacks selling vendors from Bangladesh. Later drive to visit Mwallynong Village Mwallynong The Cleanest Village in Asia, in eastern India’s Mawlynnong village, tidying up is a ritual that everyone – from tiny toddlers to toothless grannies – takes very seriously. This small, 600-odd person town in the Meghalaya region is renowned as the cleanest village in India. Living Root Bridge: Living Root Bridge is a Tree Bridge, while visiting Meghalaya one must visit this beautiful place. Please wear good shoes which have a good grip as you will to go on stairs which is not smooth, avoid high heels and fancy shoes, sandals. Evening drive to Cherrapunjee

Day - 5 ( In Cherapunjee )

Desc:- Breakfast at hotel Morning proceeds for Shiva Rock, seven sister Waterfalls, Mawsmai Caves, Nohkalikai waterfalls, Arway Caves Daithlen Falls, and Wai Sawdong waterfalls (Pls note, it’s a difficult trekking on Fit persons can go, as ladders made by locals by using Bamboos and othe materials available in the forest, Carry your stuffs for bathing cloths but no soap and shampoos), Garden of Caves (Falls are active during rainy season) Overnight at hotel. OR (Nogrihat Trekking can be done, but it is not advisable to children and old age people) Morning proceeds for trekking experience will take you to the majestic double-decker living root bridge of Cherrapunji and Rainbow Fall. (Please note, there are over 3000 stair which guest needs to go to reach Double decker Bridge and return, it’s a whole day activity) It’s not advisable to Senior Citizens and carry comfortable shoes, avoid High Heels and fancy shoes. We suggest you take local guide who will guide you to properly double decker root bridge (supplement charges applicable) Overnight at hotel

Day - 6 ( Cherrapunjee- Mawphlang Sacred Grooves-Shillong )

City - Shillong

Desc:- Breakfast at hotel Proceed for excursion of Mawphlang Sacred Grooves (you need to hire local guide to enter the forest). Covering some 192 acres, the Mawphlang Sacred Forest, nestled in the East Khasi Hills near Mawphlang village, has its roots steeped deep in the age-old religious beliefs, in which forests are regarded as a sacred entity. The local Khasi tribes have been preserving this forest for thousands of years and believe it to be the abode of the local deity, called Labasa. The tribal people have a firm belief that Labasa protects this forest and their community from any mishap. The deity takes on the form of leopard or tiger and protects the village. To maintain favours or appease the local deity, the villagers make animal sacrifices in the stone temples located within the forest. Later drive to Mawsynram, it is known for the Giant Stalagmite formation shaped into a "Shivalinga" and found inside a cave known locally as 'Mawjymbuin'. A unique geological formation called "Symper Rock”. Evening return to hotel Overnight at hotel

Day - 7 ( Shillong to Guwahati airport to board flight )

City - Guwahati

Desc:- After breakfast you will be driven to Guwahati After reaching Guwahati if time permits Guest can spend some time in the local market buying local stuffs like tea, traditional clothes or souvenirs. Later you will be driven to Guwahati Airport / Railway station to board your flight/train for your onwards journey, with loads of energy as you chose a trip where you could breathe healthy.
